Build the perfect salmon bowl in less than 30 mins! This crispy, flaky and flavorful Asian-style salmon is baked to perfection and topped with a Japanese mayo sauce. Once you try this version, there might be no going back to eating salmon any other way!
In a small mixing bowl, stir together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture onto all sides of the salmon fillets.
Place the salmon onto a baking sheet, leaving some roon between each, and bake for 8-10 minutes.
While the salmon is baking, stir together Japanese mayo, rice vinegar, and sriracha.
Take the salmon out of the oven (note that the salmon will be a little under-cooked), and spread the mayo mixture on top of the salmon.
Set the oven to broil, and place the salmon on the middle rack for an additional 2 minutes
Notes
To check for doneness, insert a knife through the center of the thickest piece. It should be an opaque pink color in the middle and the meat should be flaky.
