A simple Vietnamese dipping sauce made with fish sauce, lime, sugar, and garlic. Balanced, versatile, and easy to adjust to your taste.

Ingredients

Instructions
In a bowl, mix warm water and sugar until fully dissolved.
Add fish sauce and lime juice. Stir to combine.
Add garlic and chili, then mix well.
Taste and adjust as needed.
Let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
Adjust the ratio to your taste. Some prefer it sweeter or more tangy.
