Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh or frozen broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoon high heat oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon water (only for fresh broccoli)

Instructions

FOR FRESH BROCCOLI:

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 375°F
  • In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets together with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Spread the broccoli evenly out on the air fryer basket/tray. Add 1 tablespoon of water to the bottom of the air fryer basket (this will steam the broccoli first to ensure that it cooks completely through).
  • Air fry for 6-8 minutes. Shake the air fryer basket or flip the broccoli, then air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender crisp.

FOR FROZEN BROCCOLI:

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 375°F
  • Place the frozen broccoli florets into the air fryer basket/tray. Air fry for 4-5 minutes until defrosted. Then, drain out any excess liquid.
  • Toss the broccoli with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Spread the broccoli out so that it is not overlapping.
  • Then air fry for an additional 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.

Notes

This recipe was tested using a CORSI Pro XL Air Fryer and Instant Omni Plus Air Fryer Toaster. There's a range in the instruction's cooking time. This will vary depending on which air fryer you have.
