Place the green beans in the air fryer. (Note: It is alright if it overlaps, it will steam first and then crisp up once the moisture evaporates).
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, adding garlic and more oil on top of the garlic.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together soy sauce and sesame oil.
When the cooking time is done, transfer the green beans to a serving dish. Be sure to get all the garlic that has fallen to the bottom of the air fryer basket. Drizzle the soy sauce mixture on top of the green beans.
